Karima Tagnit-Hammou received her Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Ottawa, and she also holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Biology. After first pursuing a career in Sciences, she started at Westboro Academy in 2009. She teaches grade 8 French and Social Studies and she is one of the French Student Support Teachers.. She has a passion for nurturing children who will become our leaders in the world of tomorrow. She believes that every learner has a unique potential that can be reached. She gives special attention to personal development and helps foster the development of autonomy, maturity, and balance. She loves teaching and learning and has a passion for reading. Mme Karima has two sons and lives with her family in Gatineau.
