House System

Camaraderie, school spirit, community building and friendly competition are fostered through student participation in the House System. The school is divided into four Houses representing Canadian icons; Inukshuk, Mounties, Bluenose and Maple Leafs. Each student is allocated to a House to which they will belong for the duration of their enrolment at Westboro. Each House is led by a student Captain and Vice-Captain. Individuals accumulate points for their respective houses through active participation, acts of kindness, good citizenship, determination, athletics, and academics. At the end of each year, the House Cup is awarded to the winning House and is engraved with the name. Each term, a ribbon representing the colour of the leading House is tied to the cup.
