Home Welcome Philosophy Academic Program Activities & Events Admissions Before/After School FAQ

How does Westboro Academy get involved with the local community and other schools?
Our students participate in an annual skate-a-thon for CHEO, projects to assist local food banks and children's centers. Christmas caroling in the community and visits by the choir to seniors residences are also Westboro Academy traditions. The regional Heritage Fair and a variety of sports tournaments provide opportunities for our students to interact with those from other schools.

What extra-curricular activities are available to the students?

Westboro Academy students have many extra-curricular options from which
to choose including intramural sports, piano lessons and choir. And of course, there are the many clubs that make up our After School program.

What type of athletic program and facilities does the school have?
Westboro Academy's physical education program is focused on outdoor activities and an indoor fitness program. In winter, our students make use of the speedskating oval, the gym facilities at Carleton University, and the swimming pool next to the school. In the fall and spring months, students take part in individual and team sports such as track and field and soccer. Tournaments also play an important part in the program.
