Home Welcome Philosophy Academic Program Activities & Events Admissions Before/After School FAQ

No one in our home is able to speak French, will my child be able to do his homework without our fully comprehending his assignments?
The children are provided in class with the information that they require to complete their homework
assignments each night. They are neither given new material nor is it expected that you will be teaching
them in the evenings. French language homework assistance is available during the homework
period on designated days each week. At the start of each school year, the teachers outline for
parents the homework strategy providing a clear picture of expectations and the role of parents.

Will my child be bilingual when she graduates from Westboro Academy?

Westboro Academy's bilingual program gives children the tools to become proficient in both official languages. Upon graduation from our school, students will be able to work confidently in an all-English, all-French, or a bilingual educational environment. Westboro Academy offers a curriculum that meets or exceeds the academic standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Education and for French language skills follows the standards set by the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec.
