Academics
Westboro Academy is committed to delivering academic excellence
in a bilingual, co-educational environment and nurturing all aspects
of a child's intellectual, moral, social, cultural, and physical
development.
- Children respond to academic standards that are challenging
and attainable.
- Children learn best through self-motivation and pride in
their accomplishments.
- Children learn appropriate behaviour through the example of respectful and co-operative relationships among students and the Faculty.

The academic program offered at Westboro Academy
emphasizes the mastery of basic skills and knowledge in the areas
of reading, writing, and oral communications, in English and French,
and in mathematics and science. The portion of the curriculum conducted
in French includes French language skills, music and social studies.
Westboro Academy's core curriculum meets or exceeds the academic
standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Education and in the case
of French language skills, follows the standards set by the Ministère
de l'Éducation du Québec. |
