Physical Education
All students at Westboro Academy participate in the Physical Education Program. Depending on the grade level, the program occurs from 2-4 times per week, in 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions averaging 120 minutes of instruction per week per class. Our program is taught by a Certified Physical Education Teacher Specialist. The focus of the program is on participation through the development of knowledge and motor skills, social skills, and participation in activities. Our facilities include the fields, rink and swimming pool of Brewer Park, as well as the use of the Norm Fenn Gymnasium at Carleton University. We also have a gymnasium space in the school that our youngest students use for Physical Education.
